1,000,000 doors. This is the goal that has been set for getting the Gospel out to the greater Charlotte area. We started on July 31, and groups have been out daily ever since. So far we have made it to approximately 225,000 doors, with almost 200 people praying to accept Christ as Saviour along the way!
On one Saturday we had around 500 teenagers go into Charlotte with the Gospel! (pictured above)
During the week, groups of all sizes have been traveling short and long distances to get the Gospel to the lost of this city.
It has been my privilege to help oversee many of these groups, while going to thousands of doors myself!
The effort has been one combining blitzing (fast-paced door-hanging) and door-knocking. Our goal has been to speak with anyone we meet and to share the Gospel whenever possible!
We have well over 750,000 homes still to be reached in less than one week, so help is what we need! Bro. Foxx is pictured above holding a sign requesting help! Despite our best efforts, if a large number of reinforcements do not join us NOW, we will fall short of our goal.
Whether or not we reach our goal, we have certainly accomplished something great, and the crusade has not even started yet!
Our prayer is that every one of the 10,800 seats of the Bojangles Coliseum will be filled, and that many of those attending will accept Christ as their Saviour!
Pray for the preachers: Danny Whetstone, Tom Farrell, and John Reynolds.
Pray for the finances: nearly $70,000 still needed
Pray for the choir: Nearly 1,000 voices singing each night
Pray that there be no distractions.
Pray for the ushers, parking attendants, and especially the altar workers.
Pray that many will be saved, baptized, and discipled and that the churches will be able to see long-lasting fruit!
Pray for Revival!
It has been amazing to see God provide and protect!
So far, we have had groceries in the fridge, gas in the car, and our bills have been paid!
